Pet of the Month.

How did you come to live with your current family? I was living outside in a rural area outside of Houston. I was alone and very scared. Luckily some nice people rescued me and my mom found me online and I made my way to Washington in July 2020.
What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you? I make lots of funny noises like grunts or snaps when I’m happy. I also do a lot of very dramatic deep sighs and my mom thinks this is silly especially since I don’t even have to think about paying bills.

Besides Day Care… what do you love? I love any activity, being off leash outside, tasty frozen marrow bones, my stink hole (crate) and curling up in front of the fire place or baking in the sun.

What are your favorite toys or games? I’m obsessed with fetch and I love learning new tricks.

For enrichment, what do you prefer? food, scent, movement? something else? Anything but mostly movement and treats. Preferably movement with treats.

If you had a major in college…what would it be? Hmm probably parks and rec. I’d be a great park ranger.

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say? I’m a good boy trying to be a great boy and seeking a fellow companion who enjoys running fast and sharing space in front of the fire place.

Describe your perfect day. My perfect day would start with a puppachino followed by a nice long off leash hike. We’d then take a short snooze in the sun, followed by a long game of fetch. Day would end with gnawing on a frozen marrow bone in front of the fire.

We know your real name is, but what are some of your nicknames? Feen, La Feen, Finners, Finn Finn, Little Boy, Tinky Tinky .

What was your favorite trip you’ve taken? Probably to Port Townsend with my parents. I did so well on the ferry and did lots of running and playing at Fort Worden.

Do you have a best dog friend? At Tails or outside of Tails. I’m more of an introvert and prefer to fly solo, but get along well with most chill pups.

Are you a morning dog or a night owl? Definitely a morning boy. My mom says I’m sweetest in the morning when I’m still sleepy.

Peanut butter or whipped cream? Either! I love both.
Ball or stick? Ball every time for sure.
What’s the stinkiest thing you have ever rolled in? Goose poop, woof!

Where is your favorite place to sleep? (and no, you won’t get in trouble if you say your Hoomon’s Bed). I love my dingo den/crate. It’s my safe space.

Other information we should know about you? I know lots of tricks, my mom says I’m very smart. Although I’m slow to warm up to others, I always try my best and am very sweet once you get to know me.
