Pet of the Month.

How did you come to live with your current family?

After getting married, mom and dad knew it was time to add a dog to their family. They researched and found me! I was born three days before their one year wedding anniversary. It was fate! I sealed the deal by using my big brown eyes to steal dad’s heart.

What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you?

I go CRAZY for bubble wrap. It makes me bark and growl and jump! The vacuum cleaner is my enemy. I like to attack it. Also, you’d probably be shocked if you ever rang the doorbell at my house. Everyone talks about how sweet I am, but I pretend to be SCARY when the doorbell rings.

Besides Day Care… what do you love?

Hiking! I’ve never been totally enthusiastic about some typical lab activities like swimming or fetching, but if you take me hiking, I’m in heaven! I also love water, but not in the way you would think. Instead of swimming, I prefer to splash my face around in shallow puddles, my doggie pool or in the water dishes at daycare.

What are your favorite toys or games?

They tell mom and dad that I love the red kong balls at daycare. At home, I prefer dad’s socks. Every morning, I run to the laundry basket, pick up a sock or two and play keep away by running around the dining room table while mom or dad chases me. It’s fun because they can never catch me!

If you had a major in college…what would it be?

Psychology. I still have some neuroses I’d like to learn about, like my lack of enthusiasm for the car and fear of hardwood or tile floors.

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?

Mature, sweet lady looking for fun! Must love running circles in the yard, walking in the snow, and snuggling on the couch after a busy day.

I’m so thankful for my daycare family! I’ve met so many lovely doggie and human friends there! Thanks for choosing me as pet of the month!
