Gracie

Hi, I’m Gracie. I’m a well traveled Basset. You see I started out in a puppy mill in South Dakota. Mid-America Basset Rescue in Kansas City rescued me. From there my Mom and Dad spotted me on the website and drove from Lincoln, NE (where they lived). When they came to see me I greeted them with 26 other Bassets. They called it a battalion. I’m in Bellingham now, obviously. I love to be in the middle of things. Some of my favorite things are People, new people, old friends! Big dogs, little dogs! (not fluffy white dogs though) Tummy rubs! Walks at Boulevard park. And a bit of ice cream now and then. I like “Greenies” allot but I don’t get them anymore because I swallow them whole. Apparently that’s bad. I also like toys, but only the ones someone else is playing with. Hay, if they are liking it it must be a good one right?

If you had a major in college… what would it be?

The culinary arts. Or medieval political theory. Or perhaps pre-med, with an emphasis in polysomnography. Grace knows a thing or two about a good nap.

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?

If she wanted to meet new friends, Grace would take a more direct approach than a personal ad – like sitting in front of Mallard’s and asking any friendly face who walked by for their number. And a tummy rub.
