How did you come to live with your current family?

My mom and dad really wanted a female Golden Retriever because my dad grew up with one and thought she was the best dog in the world. They searched the Internet for different breeders and nothing seemed to work out. A friend suggested Chuckanut Retrievers, a local breeder in Bellingham. Completely by chance, they called to find that a litter of puppies had recently been born- with just one girl left- me!

What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you?

I am terrified of Mom’s exercise ball… and a few other random things, like the laundry basket and baby kittens. Also, I get really nervous about riding in the car. Whenever Mom opens the back hatch to get me in, I begin jumping around and biting my tail.

Besides Day Care… what do you love?

There are so many things I love! My favorites are hiking, swimming, playing in the snow, wrestling with dad, snuggling and giving kisses. Take me on a hike and I will run back and forth for hours and find the wettest, muddiest spots and lay down right in the middle of them. Jumping off docks into the bay – bring it on! Get me up in the snowy mountains and I will slide nose first on my back down the nearest hill…

What are your favorite toys or games?

My favorite toy is my bone, although it’s not really a toy, but it keeps me busy for hours! My favorite games are wrestling, tug of war and gutting any stuffed animal I can get my teeth on.

If you had a major in college…what would it be?

I would be an event planner. I love parties and love to be in the midst of the action! All-nighters would be a problem, however, since I tend to become unconscious around 8 pm.

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?

Gregarious blonde seeking more friends. I am super sweet, fun and smart.

Other information we should know about you?

I LOVE treats and will do anything for you if you give me one! Also, I love my doggie day care and all my friends there. The staff always make me feel so special and loved and I love and appreciate them all very much!
