Margot & Abbie

Hi I’m Margot and this is my sister Abbie…

We may be different ages and breeds but we have much in common. Our Mom adopted us both from the shelter (at different times). We both REALLY love to ride in the car, are very food motivated, and snuggling with our mom and each other. We are also in the Whatcom Humane Society reading program. We are “tutors” and we help local school kids improve their reading skills by being really good listeners. ( Margot always hopes to hear stories about snow! )

At day care Margot is known for her fabulous voice! She can woo, woo, woo like no bodies business. She was also a “calendar girl” and her picture was published in the 2003 version of 365 Dogs Calendar. You Go Girl. At home she loves being brushed and her mom is hoping to save up enough to spin into yarn to make a sweater!

When Abbie was originally adopted from the shelter the staff there called her “Grandma”, she has the sweetest old girl face. When visiting the shelter the love between her and her mom was instant. Although an older girl, she enjoys chewing on soft toys and treat time the best when she is at day care. Her other FAVORITE thing to do is sniff all the dogs cubbies to see if there are any treats in them. Her mom tells her not to steal but she sees it as being opportunistic.

If you had a major in college… what would it be?

Margot: Music Major with a Minor in communications. I’m a great singer and a big talker.

Abbie: Major in Earth Science. She’s always investigating her surroundings.

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?

Margot: Curly tailed redhead with blue eyes would like to meet light hearted male to join me in chasing squirrel chasing long, long walks. Being a good cuddlier and enjoy wolf videos.

Abbie: Cute, mature, raven haired female seeking older male with fun loving attitude. Likes slow paced walks and dog parks, sharing squeaky toys a must. If you like big wet kisses, I’m your girl.
