Pet of the Month.

Hello TAW Friends,

Leroy is my name and I’m a handsome fella who was delivered to Bellingham shortly after Prime Day 2014. Joking! I was rescued from the steets of Texas, but did not meet my new family until arriving in Washington. Luckily, the adoption match has been a success and I get plenty of treats and pets.

Unfortunately, there are plenty of pet-names as well. You may have heard me addressed as Turkeyman, Stinkpot, Fancy Guy or Baby Seal. I tolerate these nicknames, but only for the treats.

For entertainment, I very much enjoy following my nose. I am a treasure hunter! That treasure may be, but is not limited to

  • a week old discarded PB&J

  • cat poo

  • dead fish who has been melting on the beach for weeks

My mom is always trying to steal the spoils for herself, but I am determined to consume the prize before she can stop me! Treasures: I will find you, and I will eat you.

Back in school, you could always find me in the library. I’m no bookworm, but I sure love eating paper. I will shred any text I can get my paws on. Also, paper bags and toilet paper rolls are the best snacks ever!
