Freddie Jo

Hello, I’m Freddie Jo

I’m April’s Pet of the Month but I’m no Fool!!!

My dad had been wanting a dog for awhile and talked my mom into it when he found out about my litter through a work connection. He had already picked the name Freddy thinking they’d get a boy but I made sure they picked me.. and I’m a girl, so I’ve been Freddie Jo for 9 years. I love to run errands, take walks, camping… doing anything with my Dad. Soccer is my most favorite game ever. I play it every chance I get. During TV time I settle in with my hedgehog squeaky toy. That gives me lots of attention from my parents who are trying to listen. In summer I’m always in my pool and in winter I’m a snow bunny.

Shadow the cat here. I’d like to give you the real scoop on my sister. She’s very nice… for a dog. She is smart enough to know that I’m the boss of the house even though she’s got 80 lbs on me. On the other hand, she’s a bit of a goof when it comes to the garbage men. On garbage/recycle day, she stands by the window and barks to alert us to the fact that the garbage men are “stealing our stuff.”

If you had a major in college… what would it be?

She’d major in Athletics — she loves soccer ball, running, swimming!!

She’d minor in Culinary Arts — she loves to eat!!

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?

Single Black Female willing to trade my big brother, the cat, for a dog who would snuggle and play with me when my “parents” are at work (since I don’t come to doggie day care every day). You must be athletic, love the outdoors and good at sharing,

My parents must really love me. They have spent a fortune on my health and happiness. It seems nothing is too good for me (and my big brother). In addition to all the vet bills, I get new toys and treats on a regular basis. And you should see the kennel and dog house that my Dad built for me … very plush! However, I spend most of my time in the big house … either on the bed or the couch. Not a bad life, I’d say.
