Trip

How did you come to live with your current family?

I was living at the Whatcom Humane Society and Greg would come in and walk some of the other dogs and me. One day on a walk we looked at each other and he said, “You’re my dog aren’t you?” I agreed. He asked W.H.S. if I could go live with him and I moved in a week later.

What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you?

I love to chase and catch flies. I have been told I snore pretty loud. I like to watch t.v.

Besides Day Care… what do you love?

Going for walks and sniffing everything. Eating grass and laying in the sun.

What are your favorite toys or games?

I got this really neat chew toy shaped like a scorpion for my 5th birthday. That is my number one toy right now. A good game of hide and seek is pretty fun.

If you had a major in college…what would it be?

Marine Biology.

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?

5 year old lab/pit mix seeks soul mate. Must be able to share toys and bed space without any issues. Kids fine.

Other information we should know about you?

I have a lot of nicknames. Some of which are Tripster, Trippenstein, Tripdog, Trippentown, T-town, T-rip, Squishy and Bubby.

What the Tails staff says about Trip

Trip is one amazing dog…when he first started day care, he was a bit of a wacky guy, going from zero to 60 in 4.2 seconds. Now that he has been coming a long time, he has really grownup. Ya, he still is the fasted dog in the world, his energy is still that of a whirling dervish, but he now has a sense of self he did not have before. The other dogs look up to him, for play, for guidance, for love. He is always the first dog to welcome a new dog and the one to give kisses all day long. Staff now count on Trip to assist them in the group, a good little helper!
