How did you come to live with your current family?

I was found with my sister (Kona) in an industrial park in California and lived with a Veterinarian for a while in Cali. They contacted Rescued Hearts Northwest to see if I could come to Washington. My mom found me on the Rescued Hearts facebook page and asked to adopt me the second she saw me! About a month later, I had my new home!

What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you?

Just like my name says, I sleep A LOT! I patiently wait (sleep) on my bed all day long until my family comes home from work and school. I like to play, but I often opt to lay down in the middle of playing and take a nap. ? Also, my family calls me “Dozer the Bug Hunter” because I like to chase bugs around the backyard and bite at them. I once spent an entire camping trip watching the base of a tree waiting for bugs to come out.

Besides Day Care…what do you love?

I love going to an off-leash park! My dad likes to take me to off-leash parks and I like to run and run and run! I run far ahead of my dad until he says “that’s enough” and then I know I need to run back to him as fast as I can. At the end of the day, my favorite thing to do is wait on the couch until my mom goes to bed. When she’s ready, I head to bed with her and find her legs and curl up next to them. She likes it when I keep her feet warm and snuggle with her.

What are your favorite toys or games?

My favorite game is to pretend like I’m not going to come inside when my parents call me and then all of a sudden, I come running as fast I can. I also like it when my brother and sister play fetch or tug of war with me. I protect them when they are outside by themselves, making sure that no one hurts them. I’ll play any game as long as I get a treat! I like any toy that I can shred within seconds!

If you had a major in college…what would it be?

Culinary arts. Every day, while my family is cooking, I watch them from the edge of the kitchen (they don’t like it when I sit at their feet while they’re cooking). I watch everything they do and I LOOOOOOVVVEEE eating food!!!!

If you wrote a personal ad…what would it say?

I love long walks on the beach…or anywhere really. I am a snuggler who prefers literally Netflix and chilling. I enjoy hitting up the local breweries with my humans. Just take a look into my big brown eyes and I promise you’ll fall in love.

Other information we should know about you?

I love meeting new dogs especially when they let me sniff them! If you see me, I love pets but don’t like being pet on my head. A good chest scratch or gentle pet on the back are better in my book!
