How did you come to live with your current family?

I was born in New Mexico and was taken to a shelter there with my mom and siblings. Then when I was 8 months old, they took us all to a shelter in Seattle. Then all of my brothers and sisters got adopted but I was left in the shelter. Little did I know that my mom had found my profile online, at the very end of a list of dogs on the last website she looked at, and fell in love with me immediately. I also didn’t know that even though she wasn’t ready to adopt a dog yet, she checked my profile every single day to make sure I had not been adopted (she tells me this every day). I did not want to leave my human friends at the shelter at first, but now I am very happy with my family and my home.


What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you?

I am very good at walking on curbs and balancing on all sorts of things during walks. If my mom opens a bag of shredded cheese or string cheese I instantly know it’s cheese even if I’m in the other room and I run into the room and ask to share. I am very nosy and always want to know what’s going on around me, and I always want to follow fire trucks, other dogs, or people when I go on walks. I also learned how to get to my friend Teemu’s house from several different locations and ask my mom to take me there every day on our walks.


Besides Day Care… what do you love?

I love chisme (gossip/trouble). I also love finding human food during my walks (cake, french fries, tater tots, hamburgers, pizza, bones, etc.) even when it is hidden in bushes and I have to climb in to find it. I love doing zoomies when I get really excited. I love chasing and being chased by other small dogs. I love bumping into my dog or human friends during walks. I love taking lots of walks and sniffing everything. I love very long playdates with my dog friends. I love eating wood chips when I think no one is looking and trying to take sticks into the house after my walks. 


What are your favorite toys or games?
My favorite toys are plushies even though I’m not allowed to have them because I enjoy dismembering them and then eating the stuffing and fabric. My second favorite toy is my Kong frisbee and my third favorite toys are all of the toys I get in my Bark box. My favorite game is trying to eat human food on my walks without anyone noticing. I also like finding hidden toys and getting treats for finding them. Sometimes I like to play tug with people or other dogs.

If you had a major in college…what would it be?

Biochemistry because it is the science of smells, which I really like.

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?
I am a small dog searching for other small dogs to play chase, wrestle, and chew on sticks with.

Other information we should know about you?

I really love Tails and have met my best human and dog friends there, and I am very happy to know that I can go to Tails instead of stay home by myself when my mom goes back to work in person. Thank you to everyone at Tails for spoiling me and loving me so much.
