How did you come to live with your current family?
My humans tracked me down in the middle of the pandemic. They drove south all the way across the state to meet me and my parents when I was only 4 weeks old. My birth mom ended up dying a week later from an infection, so I was a bit traumatized early on. (Mom says I still have some FOMO issues from that!) Anyhow, 4 weeks later they came back and took me home to where we live today.
What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you?
I love socks. I mean, I really love socks. Clean or dirty doesn’t matter. I can tell when someone is taking off their socks or getting ready to put some on, and I will drop whatever I have to get them! Socks are the best except they don’t have any squeakers to dig for, so socks are just for running with. I’ll drop them immediately if you ask – I just want those soft, squishy fragrant balls of goodness in my mouth! I also like “helping” with housework – especially vacuuming and leaf blowing
Besides Day Care… what do you love?
I love it when my humans take me to their little cabin in the woods. There’s no one else around, except my first-ever friend Solo – a huge English Lab – and his human. When we’re at the cabin, I get to sleep in every day and sometimes I even get to sleep on my mom & dad’s bed! We take walks every day. Sometimes two times a day! And there’s hardly anyone ever around. I get to flop down in the moss, and jump on logs,
and oh, the chew toys. There are so many chew toys everywhere!! And in all different flavors – Cedar, maple, Fir…! So good!!! I don’t know what a beaver is, but mom calls me that when we’re at the cabin.
What are your favorite toys or games?
I love running with (and from!) friends in big yards, especially if I can get the ball before they do! Boxing and bitey face with my pals is the BEST. The flirt pole is fun and I always look forward to going through my tricks with mom since I get lots of treats. Did I mention I love socks?
For enrichment, what do you prefer? food, scent, movement? something else?
I love food. And I can see movement from really far away!
If you had a major in college…what would it be?
Yeah, mom thinks I’d have a great future in adventure education – and I’m probably good enough to get there on an athletic scholarship. (My vet said I’d be a great athlete when I was only 10 weeks old!) But personally, I would rather go to Hollywood and be a stunt performer …I just want to jump off things. Really high things.
If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?
Cute, young, flashy and sassy. Well-toned. Adventurous eater, but if given a choice, I’d pick seafood every time. A bit of a busybody but you gotta know what’s going on to know where all the fun is! I may demand your attention at times, but I give as good as I get. Likes long (secluded) walks, car rides, and spending time with friends. Equal part energizer bunny and class clown, and seriously into water sports!! Let’s play -you can fetch and I’ll chase you!
Describe your perfect day.
Other than going Tails where I get to see all my friends…
A perfect day would be to get up when I’m ready, breakfast, tricks for snacks, then driving to a deserted beach where the only people that exist are my bestest dog friends and my family so I could run off leash as fast and as far and as long as I want. Then more treats. And more running. And Dinner. Then more treats. Then we would go home to my couch and flop down after a day well spent!

What was your favorite trip you’ve taken?
I am not a huge fan of trips (except to the cabin!) I love riding in the car, it’s just when we get somewhere, there are just so many people. Mom and dad keep trying to bring me places. We’ve camped in a trailer and tried hotels, but travel makes my tummy ache so I can’t eat, and I just get so wound up with so many sights and smells and movement – it’s a bit overwhelming. Every time I come home from someplace they’ve dragged me off to, I realize HOW MUCH I LOVE HOME. My couch. My bed. My yard. New places smell awesome (I especially like beaches!!) but I’m really more comfortable with my routine.
Do you have a best dog friend? At Tails or outside of Tails
I just talked my new friend Boomer into coming to Tails. He’s still figuring stuff out (silly boy) and he’s super young, so we haven’t got to hang in the same playroom yet. Outside Tails I hang with Taz (even though he likes his ball more than playing with me); Simon, he’s my brother from another mother and we hit the sniff spots on weekends, and of course, Beau. What can I say? I like boys. They can almost keep up.
Are you a morning dog or a night owl?
I don’t like getting up in the mornings, even when I’m going to Tails. And I put myself to bed around 9, before mom and dad turn in. But it’s GAME ON between 8am & 8pm. If my folks are up, they should be playing with ME (and I know I’m a bit of a brat about it!) We live surrounded by trees, so there’s a party on the deck most nights around 2am that I need to check out firsthand. Mice, raccoons, the moon – I mean it is my job to make sure all is copacetic.
Peanut butter or whipped cream?
Both, please! Together is great. And please top with tuna juice from the can!
Ball or stick?
Sticks to chew. Or my tether ball. I don’t fetch.
What’s the stinkiest thing you have ever rolled in?
Yeah, stinky things aren’t my jam. Now Bounce dryer sheets – those are good! When I find them on the floor of the bedroom I’ll flop on my side and wriggle all over them. Then I’ll run laps around the house, giving that smelly good dryer sheet a good shake!!
Where is your favorite place to sleep? (and no, you won’t get in trouble, if you say your Hoomon’s Bed)
Along the back of the couch cushions, checking out the neighborhood through the window. Mom says I act like a cat.
Other information we should know about you?
I love visiting mom in the shower, and drinking from running hoses and Mr. Bill is currently my favorite toy.
