How did you come to live with your current family?
They adopted me from a shelter where I was taken with my three siblings! It was love at first lick!

What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you?
If you whisper the word “kitty,” even if I’m sound asleep, my head will pop up and I’ll start looking for him. Also, I’m really good at soccer. I hold one tennis ball in my mouth while I “dribble” two or three others with my feet. And don’t tell anyone, but I’m very scared of the Roomba.

Besides Day Care… what do you love?
Chest scratches, peanut butter Kongs, bully sticks, long walks, getting to run free, and when my people are just lounging around (otherwise I have to know what they’re doing and it’s kind of stressful). And the kitty. I know that we’re going to be friends one day.

What are your favorite toys or games?
I could play with my flirt pole toy in the back yard all day long! I also love tennis balls, food puzzles, and chasing squirrels. I like it when my people throw the ball for me, but I think it’s good for them to go pick it up wherever I drop it. Don’t want them getting lazy!

For enrichment, what do you prefer? food, scent, movement? something else?
I love to smell everything! Everywhere! All the time!

If you had a major in college…what would it be?

Communications. I really like to report the news. “The mail is here! Fed Ex is here! Someone is walking by!” But I think I’d get a side job as a bouncer at a local watering hole to pay my way through college.

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?
Seeking partner in crime for snuggles (but not too close), chasing squirrels, and sniffing. Must love kitties.

Describe your perfect day.
I like to lounge around until about 8:30, then I need to go outside! I would run outside for a couple of hours, preferably in a wide open space where there are lots of new smells and squirrels, bunnies, and birds to chase. Then I would come inside for a peanut butter Kong and a nap. My people would all be home so that I don’t have to worry where they are. And my favorite kitty would let me sniff him.

We know your real name is, but what are some of your nicknames?

Sam, Samma-lama-ding-dong, Samuel, Samwise Gamgee, The Big, Boo Boo, Bo Bo, Puppernutter, Ding Dong

What was your favorite trip you’ve taken?

The ocean! I didn’t love the waves but I loved running on the beach!

Do you have a best dog friend? At Tails or outside of Tails

I like all of the dogs all of the time! Unless they are scary.

Are you a morning dog or a night owl?
A morning dog!

Peanut butter or whipped cream?
Both please! Preferably mixed together.

Where is your favorite place to sleep? (and no, you won’t get in trouble if you say your Hoomon’s Bed)
