Hunter & Gryffin

How did you come to live with your current family?

Hunter: I was almost three when my Mommy and Daddy adopted me—they were my next door neighbors who fell in love with me. They were so happy when they were asked if I could come live with them. I was two months old when they moved next door to me. They would always talk to me through the fence and tell me how handsome I was.

Gryffin: Mommy and Daddy brought me home when I was 7 weeks old. They told me that they loved my big bro Hunter so much that they wanted him to have a buddy. They found out where Hunter was born and got me one year later from the same place. We both have the same Doggy Mommy and Daddy—so we really are brothers! Hunter is 8 1/2 and I’m almost 5.

What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you?

Hunter: I like to do what Mommy and Daddy call “corn on the cob”—it looks like I’m trying to gently nibble an ear of corn, I do this on soft material like the bedding and on people’s clothes!

Gryffin: I love tissue! I love to eat it! I have gotten very good at getting into Mommy and Daddy’s pockets—sometimes I have even eaten dollar bills! Mommy and Daddy are trying to remember to empty their pockets before they set their clothes down—they just don’t approve of my quest for more fiber in my diet!

Besides Day Care… what do you love?

Breakfast, Dinner, treats, walks, a run in the country, our kitty-cat brothers and sisters, sleeping on the couch and hanging out with Mommy and Daddy.

What are your favorite toys or games?

We like to play a game that Mommy and Daddy call “Zoom-Zoom”—we chase each other round and round the couch.

Gryffin: I love playing Frisbee—Hunter likes to bark to cheer me on.

Other information we should know about you?

We think you should know that if Timmy had been with us he would never have fallen in the well in the first place!

If you had a major in college…what would it be?

We would probably get a degree in Social Work—most likely we would end up joining the Peace Corps—we are such peace loving boys.

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?

A couple of handsome, peace loving Collies looking for long walks in the country side and a cozy couch.
