December Pet of the Month is Miss Maizy …aka Maizy-loo-whooo or Maizydoodle or Maizydoodleeedooo!!!
Here is her pet of the month Q&A for you all to enjoy!
How did you come to live with your current family?
-When I was a teeny tiny little puppy Andrea came to meet me and my litter mates. She brought lots of people to help her decide which one of us was going to get to join her and her family. The kids wanted her to pick my sister because she was so silly and playful and peppy, but Andrea decided on me instead because I was sooo mellow. In fact, when she first got there I was in the corner, lying on my back on a pillow, sleeping with my head hanging down. She picked me up and snuggled me and we both felt so happy. But boy did I fool her! I still like to sleep on my back with my head hanging down, but I am anything but mellow and now she calls me her “peppy puppy”! ?
What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you?
-I love to doggie dance with the kids in my family and scootch around on my belly and army crawl when I’m outside, especially in the snow, on the sand, or in the wet grass.
Besides Day Care… what do you love?
-I love treats and being petted, playing kickball, going out on the water kayaking and stand up paddle boarding, and … sleeping on the couch (even though I’m not supposed to).
What are your favorite toys or games?
-I always like it when someone plays with me and throws my ball, but I really like it when I can’t see where they threw it and I have to sit and wait before I can go find it and … I LOVE my squeaky pink platypus!
If you had a major in college…what would it be?
-I think I’d like to go to culinary school and learn to bake… that way I could make myself and my friends yummy treats to eat every day!
If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?
-I love treats and balls and squeaky toys and would love to share them with you! Want to come over and play?!
Other information we should know about you?
-I really am a fun loving peppy puppy, even if I am already two and a half years old ?
