How did you come to live with your current family?

I heard my mom needed a best friend to take to grad school, and so I couldn’t resist raising a paw!! From day one I was attached to her hip.

What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you?

I’m missing a toe!! When I was a baby puppy it made my paw sensitive but it doesn’t bother me now! And I’m pretty sure mom loves it, now she can always tell my prints apart!

Besides Day Care… what do you love?

PEANUT BUTTER!! And I love the water! I like wading and swimming, especially if one of my friends is swimming too! And peanut butter. I love peanut butter.

What are your favorite toys or games?

I have a yellow duck that my mom gave me when I was just 2 months old! It’s the only toy I haven’t destroyed. That and my peanut butter filled kong! I like chasing that down the hallway. It’s a funny shape so it bounces all over and sometimes I hit my head on the wall trying to catch it! Did I mention I love peanut butter??? My mom is trying to teach me to catch. I’m not very good at it but it makes her laugh so I keep trying!

If you had a major in college…what would it be?

Could I study barking? I’m good at that!

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?

I am a fun-loving, loyal dog that loves going for long runs on beach, or short walks to the peanut butter. If you are looking for a few laughs and love cuddling on the couch, than I’m the pup for you!

Other information we should know about you?

My mom named me after Hatch Green Chiles. She loves spicy food and after spending 4 years in the southwest, she had to bring a piece of it back to Bellingham by naming me Hatch!
