How did you come to live with your current family?

I used to live in Vancouver, WA. My first ‘mamma’ (owner) was getting ready to move into an apartment for college, but found out that she couldn’t take me with her. So she put out an ad to find a good home for me. My new parents saw the ad, and even though they weren’t 100% ready, they called soon there after to make the arraignments to bring me home. When I met my new family, I couldn’t stop wiggling with excitement! I whimpered as we said goodbye to my old family and I snuggled in the car with my new family with a sigh. I didn’t know it at the time, but my first adventure with them was to go on a road trip to my new home! I still don’t know much about it now because I was asleep through most of it.

What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you?

I’m not a fan of the rain and will try every cute trick in the book to stall the process. I mean, who wants to have cold wet drops on your fur when your trying to do your business?! The rain coat helps, but it’s still bothersome.

Besides Day Care… what do you love?

Treats! Snuggles! Ear lobes! Lean down far enough to give me treat and I might be able to take all three!

What are your favorite toys or games?

Laser/ flashlight (to out run and chase around), tug of war, and keep away! I’m willing to play with anything your interested in, but these top three keep me engaged.

If you had a major in college…what would it be?

I would major in Humanities. What makes your earlobes so desirable? How come your social interactions never include sniffing butts? What triggers you to give me treats? Why do you close the door to use the bathroom, but watch me do my business? What is your fascination with my poop?! You are fascinating creatures and I’d love to know more.

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?

Young, beefy and socialized male seeking energetic socialized female or male.. I’m fixed and it doesn’t matter. I enjoy long walks on grass, dirt, and carpet..and only in that order. Water dog breeds need not apply. Leave your reply on tree, rock, fence post, or grassy mound at Lake Padden. I’ll have my pack call your pack.

Other information we should know about you?

When you see me, ask me to sit before you pet me. I’m in training to be a ‘big dog’ and I need all the practice I can get.
