How did you come to live with your current family?

My mom and dad were kid-less at the time, so I put on the extra charm so I could be adopted as an ONLY CHILD. I was the biggest, most intelligent, and of course, the most handsome in my litter. I was the obvious choice. My three “sissies” came along within the next 5 years, but I have grown to love them.

What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you?

First of all, I don’t consider anything I do as “silly”. But if you must know, I like to attack waves at the beach then bury myself in the sand to stay cool on hot days. Also, when things get a little chaotic, I like to use my favorite “stuffies” as pacifiers while I chill out.

Besides Day Care… what do you love?

Besides FOOD, I love going on walks where I can sniff out edible treasures which are invisible to the human eye. I love going on car rides, except for when they end up at the vet. I love lying as close to the fireplace as I can without actually igniting. And this may sound sappy, but I like being wherever my family is, even if I am just resting on my pillow in the same room as everyone.

What are your favorite toys or games?

I have a stuffed “Grousy” and stuffed “Ducky” that both make quacking sounds when I squeeze them in my teeth. I have had a Grousy or Ducky since birth. My dad has repaired these stuffies countless times for me, as I kind of like to pull the stuffing out of them when irritability sets in from insatiable hunger.

In the springtime, my dad and sissies like to hide treats in these egg-shaped plastic containers and hide them around the house and yard. I must say I have a superb proficiency for sniffing these out rather quickly.

If you had a major in college…what would it be?

Although most regard me as being a vocally gifted tenor, I would rather major in and pursue a career in the culinary arts with aspirations of becoming a food critic. Then I would use my influence to inspire a movement to keep boiled veggies off of every pup’s dinner plate forever.

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?

I am an XXL, happy, loyal, adventurous beagle. Loves to eat. To know me is to LOVE me!

Other information we should know about you?

-My name was almost ROCCO.

-I would run through fire for a nibble of PUMPKIN BREAD.

-I am so careful and adept at unwrapping gifts, that even fine china is safe between my teeth and paws.

-I am extremely choosy about my friends. They must be at least as intelligent as me.

-I enjoy chasing squirrels up trees or telephone poles. I also like chasing kitties that actually run away. If I were to ever catch a squirrel or kittie, I don’t believe I would hurt it intentionally.

-Come to think of it, the words: SQUIRREL and KITTIE cause me to stop everything and howl as I go into hunting mode.

-When my dad comes home from work, he kneels down so I can put my front paws in his lap and give him kisses. I have been doing this ever since I was a puppy.

-I truly love my family as much as they love me.
