How did you come to live with your current family?

My sister Ivy and I were just little puppies, not more than 8 weeks old, when two ladies came to see us at Lil’ Waifs Puppy Rescue. Ivy got to go home to Bellingham with her new mom and I was all alone for a WHOLE WEEK!!!! Then the other lady came back and said she could not get me off her mind or out of her heart and did I want her to be my new mom and did I want to move to Bellingham, too? I made my mind up really quickly and jumped into the car and there was Ivy with her new mom (my mom’s sister) and we drove home to Bellingham where we are living happily ever after.

What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you?

My mom thinks it’s really silly that even though I can jump on her high bed and run up hills and catch balls in the air, I can’t seem to jump into the back of our Subaru. I just put my front feet up and Mom has to pick the rest of me up and lift me in. Another silly think is that even though I am a pretty big girl I don’t know how to walk past my little kitty when she is in my way. I don’t know if she likes me much ’cause sometimes she talks to me kinda scary… she is so little and I am so big.

Besides Day Care… what do you love?

The think I love most is when we all get together and have family parties. My sister Ivy, my silly cousins Molly and Bella and sometimes even my cousin Cooper (who is really big and strong) get together and we play, chase, wrestle, eat and have the best time. My human family comes too, even my Grandma. It’s usually at Ivy’s house but sometimes we play at my house then we can go swimming. It’s the best, most fun a dog could ever have. Sisters and cousins make the best friends.

What are your favorite toys or games?

My favorite game is Chuck-It with a tennis ball- so I guess that is my favorite toy too. I could play for hours and hours, sharing the ball, catching the ball, looking for the ball and rolling around in the grass with the ball. After lots of Chuck-It and a little swimming ( I just learned how to swim when I turned one year old) I like to lay around in the house with my squeaky toys (even though they are kind of babyish), my Galileo bone and my bully sticks. Another favorite game is chasing geese from the yard. I love to see them squawking like crazy. I would never catch them but its fun to see them run. Mom says I can’t chase the ducks, but its hard not to.

Other information we should know about you?

Even though I am very active and like to play most of the time I have a very thoughtful side. When I am just sitting around I like to contemplate the universe, do mathematical equations in my head and work on my vocabulary. I am an all around great dog. At least I am working on it!

If you had a major in college…what would it be?

Recreation/Physical Education. Tails says she always shows the little puppies how to play nice, so I bet she would make a good PE teacher. Rosie is also a really good sport ’cause she doesn’t always have to win to have fun. She’s pretty smart so I guess she could do a lot of things but she likes to stay busy, she’s a very physical girl.

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?

BFD looking for RFD to hang out with, play tug, wrestle and have great times. Must love to run and chase as well as be chased. Can promise lots of fun. Sheep are encouraged to apply. (BFD=beautiful female dog) (RFD= really fun dog)
