Macree

Hi, I’m Macree. It’s a Gaelic name that means ‘my heart’, everyone says I’m a sweetheart. How did I come to be part of my family? Well, as it was explained to me, When a man and a woman love each other very much… the man drives all the way to ‘Podunk’ Lebannon, Oregon to pick up a beautiful puppy. I’m the first ‘giant breed’ in the family. You know, I don’t understand what everyone means when they say ‘giant breed’. I’m no bigger than anyone else… am I? I do get funny looks when I try to play with ‘small dogs’. Maybe that’s why people fall down when I lean on them… Hmmmmm. Let’s see, what else do I like? Oooh, WATER!!! I love water. We only live a short walk away from Lake Padden. Even better, during the summer we have a kiddy pool in the backyard. I happily share with the boys. I love to wrestle with my boys. They are very gentle with me. See, they are both taller then me. See, how can I be a ‘giant’ when I’m shorter than a 5 ½ or 2 ½ year old?

If you had a major in college…what would it be?

Honestly, we would be super surprised if she could score highly enough on the SATs to gain entrance to college. However, if she is smarter than she acts, she has a definite interest in pathology- she is always trying to find out why the stuffed toy doesn’t make noise anymore after all its insides are pulled out. Or maybe an Irish Literature major- the opportunity to sit on a couch (something she is NOT allowed to do) and drool on large tomes.

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?

Small, petite single fawn female seeks soul mate for long swims, romantic wrestling, and warm naps (doesn’t everyone lie about their physical size in a personal ad… and she might be small and petite to some… just not to many).
