How did you come to live with your current family?
I was born near the shores of Lake Whatcom with my 2 sisters & 4 brothers. My Mom dog’s owner was a Pediatric nurse at the hospital & put my siblings and I on the list-serve to find homes. My human mom saw my precious mug looking out of a box & send the add to my Dad requesting a visit juuusst to take a look. As I watched them walk up I knew I had to seal the deal. I out sprinted my brothers (being the biggest and first born!) & rolled on to my back with a grin. My belly was soon covered with loving hands & I knew they were mine!

What Silly or Little known facts should we know about you?
I hate baths and throw huge fits both prior to getting in and after I get out and am dried off. I can be quite dramatic.

I have a no-stick left behind policy when I go on hikes, even if they are as big as I am.

My job is being an alarm to protect those I love, sometimes when they don’t even think they need it…

I wrote the song cuddle bug.

My mom massages me awake & asleep…

Besides Day Care… what do you love?
I have many hobbies. I love off-leash hikes in the mountains or dog-parks where I can chase rabbits and squirrels. Afterwards, going to a nice brewery and getting treats and watching other dogs is a nice reward. At home, playing chase and rough-housing with Dad and then cuddling with Mom are a must most evenings. Then I check in and guard the house from my window-sill bed for the evening. I also love taking car rides to visit family or explore new cities.

What are your favorite toys or games?
Playing hide and seek in the mornings when I know I have to go to Tails is fun. As soon as they grab my leash I sprint under the bed, especially if they are running late! Don’t get me wrong, I love Tails and always am excited once they get me in the car, it’s just fun to watch them squirm, although they do usually lure me out with a treat or sometimes trick my by ringing the doorbell and then treating me when I sprint downstairs to catch the intruder.

I also love my basketball toy for playing fetch, by Seahawks rope football for keep-away, and my electronic squirrel tail for dropping and chasing it around the house.

I have had too many stuffed animal friends to count, but I like to roughhouse, and frankly most of them can’t handle it and don’t last very long.

If you had a major in college…what would it be?
Criminal Justice: I love keeping the streets safe and alerting others about wrong-doers. I love investigating scents, smells and doing other top-secret detective work. I like policing my friends and other pups to make sure everyone is playing within the rules…stay safe people! Finally, I am glad I am around to educate puppies with tough love so that they follow the straight and narrow from an early age. Society needs it.

If you wrote a personal ad… what would it say?
Eligible athletic baby-faced bachelor look for love. I can tend to be a little clingy (OK, a lot) but also demand personal space when I need it (Pod time). I like positive affirmation as I tend to be a little insecure. Long walks on the beach followed by some good salmon or bacon is a perfect date. I have a big personality, so I probably need to be balanced out by a strong-willed and steady older female.

Other information we should know about you?
My parents say that I bring them so much joy, love and laughter and bring some balance to their life! I am a foodie and a lover once I get to know you. I have my own bed and room, but still sleep with my parents. When my parents have to be away for work, I have an awesome crew (Tails staff, Angi & Jason, Caity, Michael) where I can stay as part of their families until I get to be back home.
